'Your Planet' Podcast, Episode 8 is now available to listen: "The people versus the Climate''
Welcome back to Your Planet, a podcast series brought to you in association with The Conversation that delves into potential solutions for addressing climate change and the ecological crisis.
Throughout this series we've endeavoured to explore solutions that offer hope for a more sustainable future on planet earth, but some of them, as we have discovered, do not offer straightforward fixes. In this final episode YourPlanet puts the climate itself directly in the dock to investigate the role of litigation. Can it possibly act as a way to force climate action ?
Climate cases have more than doubled in five years with more than two thousand five hundred worldwide. Environmental activists and non governmental organisations have been seeking to hold governments and big corporate entities directly accountable.
