Aside from good restaurants, bars and theaters, Washington boasts a large number of free museums, monuments and parks. The Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay are just a few hours drive away and spectacular national parks are also nearby. Three airports offer flights to destinations across the United States and abroad. Housing is relatively easy to find and the city offers a choice between urban and suburban living.
